The purpose of this teaching is to trace the life of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah based on the four Gospels. A more specific purpose of this teaching is to present the life of the Messiah from a Jewish perspective. It is very important to note that the life of Yeshua does not play itself out within the framework of Greek or Roman culture, but within Jewish culture—and a specific type of Jewish culture: that of first-century Israel. As a result, throughout the Gospels, words are said the way they are said, events happen the way they happen, and things are written the way they are written because of this specific Jewish frame of reference. End Times Teaching
This teaching is a study of prophecy. More specifically, it is a study of eschatology, the study of the last days.
This teaching will examine prophecy chronologically; it will deal with the sequence of events as they are revealed in Scripture. Think of this as putting all the events concerning the end times on a timeline. It will deal with the prophecies that are being fulfilled at the present time and with the sequence of events as they unfold in the Tribulation and the Millennium culminating in the Eternal Order.
